Shawn Persinger (the alligator) is a musician, composer, writer, and educator who has written several music books and released a bounty of critically acclaimed CDs. He presents a weekly children’s music program at a private daycare, teaches a Beatles music class for kids, and is on the CT Department of Economic and Community Development Performing Artists roster. He also has two inquisitive children who inspired him to write I’m an Alligator. I’m a Crocodile.
Tom Shultz (the crocodile) is an artist, writer, humorist, and grandfather who works primarily as a designer, illustrator, and consultant with technology, media, and communication organizations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Art Education and began his design career as an art teacher where he was able to fully appreciate the delightful creativity of children. Tom has designed a wide range of creative marketing and web projects for organizations large and small, including Yale Repertory Theater and Yale School of Drama, The Hartford Courant, Tessitura Network, Tickets.com, Clear Channel, and Trivial Pursuit.
